Haunted house & climate control

Halloween in one of my favorite holidays, if you can call it a holiday.  I am obsessed with candy, and I love scary stuff. So, what more could I ask for when it comes to something I can celebrate! In my hometown, my friends and I would always take halloween pretty seriously.  We would always dress up, visit corn mazes, and obviously would try to find all of the haunted houses that we could within a decent driving distance. Haunted houses are my all time favorite. I love being scared, but also knowing that nobody can actually hurt me in the process.  However, one thing I don’t like about haunted houses is the fact that it never seems like they have adequate climate control. Every haunt house i’ve ever been in has either been way too hot, or way too cold for my liking. Maybe that’s on purpose, but I don’t care for it. The last haunted house I went in, the thermostat had to have been set on like 90 degrees.  I was sweating, my friends were sweating, and it was just a miserable mess! One year I’d like to host my own halloween party and haunted house, just so I can be the one who is in control of the thermostat and what temperature it should be. In my opinion, the colder the better because in all the best horror movies, it’s freezing cold. I just think that if you have a good HVAC unit, why not use it to its fullest potential?  Maybe next year will be the year that I host my own and I will surely be setting the thermostat to a cool 50 degrees!
